Your data, your tool, your independence

Security, data & longevity

What you should be able to check before entrusting a process to a tailor-made tool. Short answers, no jargon, and no false promises: if a requirement goes beyond the usual scope, we say so.

Where is the data stored?

Where you decide: a file on your internal network, a space you host, or dedicated hosting we set up. Nothing is sent to a third-party service unless it is planned and documented.

Who owns the data?

You, entirely. The format is open (JSON, CSV): you can read, export and reuse it without going through us.

Who owns the software developed?

The delivered software belongs to you and the source code is handed over. We only keep our general know-how and ways of working, reusable from one project to another.

Can the data be retrieved and exported at any time?

Yes. Export is part of the tool from the very first version. You are never locked into a proprietary format.

How are access and permissions managed?

By profile (for example: management, shop floor, contributor), according to your needs.

For advanced IT security requirements (centralized authentication, detailed audit log, specific encryption), we talk about it upfront: it is possible, but it changes the scope and architecture of the project.

Can the tool be connected to the software already in place?

Often yes, through the imports and exports your tools already offer (CSV, Excel, files). Deeper connections (API, database) are assessed case by case depending on what your systems allow.

Who handles maintenance after delivery?

We do, under a support arrangement defined in advance: fixes, adjustments, small updates. Since the code is yours, another provider can also take over if needed.

Is it reversible?

Yes: open data format, source code delivered, no license to renew to keep using the tool. You can end the collaboration without losing the tool or the data.

And what about artificial intelligence?

Modern tools let us prototype and develop faster: that is a time saving, not a sales pitch.

AI can be built into a tool when it genuinely adds something, never by default. Your data is not sent to an external AI service without your explicit agreement.

A specific requirement on your data?

Describe your IT context and constraints, and we will look together at what is realistic within the scope of a tailor-made tool.
